What does it cost to sell my stuff with iSold It?
We offer Two Options of service for our in-store services
Option 1.- No Upfront Fee:
For items that we see are selling regularly online for at least $50. Once your item sells, iSold It deducts the fees (see Fees Description below) and sends you a check for the balance.
Option 2.- Prepaid Fee of $19.95
A 19.95 prepaid fee is required for items that we see are selling infrequently or for less than $50. The $19.95 prepaid fee will be deducted from final sale. There are no additional fees until the item sale price exceeds $60.00, at which time standard fees will apply.
Because we’re commission-based we use all of our tools and experience to sell items for the highest market value possible.
Fees Description:
There are never any fees for shipping and handling. The buyer for your item(s) pays for shipping.
Selling fees are comprised of 3 components:
1. iSold It processing fees
2. eBay listing and sale fees
3. Payment processing fees (PayPal, Visa, Amex)
iSold It processing fees: Includes all research, photography, listing, payment processing, and any additional services required.
Our fees range from 2% to 35%, depending on the final sale price and type of product. For example:
- Cars - 2-10% depending on sale package selected.
- Tickets – 15%
- All other items – 35%
eBay listing and sale fees:
eBay fees range from 3-7% and are deducted from the final sale price.
Payment processing fees:
Paypal, Visa, American Express fees generally range from 2.2% - 3.5% and are also deducted from the final sale price.
Additional Information
Reserves
A reserve placed on an auction acts as a minimum sale price. While logical, it often hinders buyers from participating in an auction and is usually discouraged except for a few minor cases. Auctions require multiple buyer participation and lower participation (fewer bidders) often limits ultimate sale price. Reserves are priced at $19.95 (prepaid fee) + 2% of the reserve price (non-refundable).
Custom auction start pricing: $19.95 for sellers requesting a higher than recommended starting price. Our customers will often use this in lieu of a reserve pricing format.
Other commission rates are available for large volume sellers.
